In this digital age, there is something to be said for the simplicity of just jotting something down. The act of writing a “note to self” by hand is somehow more memorable than simply typing another text message into a cell phone or even pasting an event into the calendar attached to your email account. Don’t get us wrong – those things are valuable time-tracking tools. But in our experience, they don’t swallow up the need to write physical notes to oneself.
