How Postcards Can Help Realtors
Just get your real estate license? Congratulations, so did just about everyone else we know! We’re just kidding — real estate can be a very profitable field to work in, but, as you undoubtedly know, having a license is not a guarantee to overnight success. Real estate is one of those fields where you make your own destiny, and while we can’t predict exactly what that destiny will look like, we can guarantee you one thing: If you don’t make any noise about yourself and let people know you’re the new realty king or queen on the block, your career is probably headed for mediocrity at best.

Picking a Printing Company
All across the United States – in Miami, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Antonio, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York and beyond – people need to print things. On an everyday basis, many people need to print a few documents for record keeping or the like. A little less frequently, people find themselves in need of thousands of pieces of printed materials – be them business cards, flyers, posters, postcards, direct mail marketing materials, brochures or booklets. And then they’re stuck trying to find the answer to this ever more difficult question: “Which frickin’ printing company should I choose?”

Business Card Design Inspiration (Quiz)
A business card really has one basic purpose: to make your professional contact information as accessible to another party as possible. We acknowledge that this function must always be at the heart of the matter when it comes to effective business card design. But must it always be the beginning and END of the matter? We think not. You can make your business card do more for you if you employ a little business card inspiration in your design process.

Party Flyers
There are pieces of paper people rarely like to receive. Among them are subpoenas, letters from the IRS, pink slips, and rejection letters. Nowhere to be found on that list, however, are the words “party flyers.” That is because these little rectangles of joy are welcomed by everyone who likes to have a wild time. (Note: people who have recently received any of the aforementioned “Debbie-Downer-documents” will be particularly eager to take your freshly-printed party flyer – it’s a fact.)

FLYER PRINTING SERVICES
When it comes to flyer printing, there have never been more options than there are today. Flyer printing services can often be found at your local mom & pop printing shop, or through any number of internet-based printers. Depending on where you go, there may be a single flyer format offered, or a huge variety of options, combining different sizes, colors, and premium printing techniques. If you’re looking for a simple flyer that does nothing more than get your message across, almost any printer will probably work for you. But if you’re looking for flyer printing services with a little more pizazz, it makes sense to do a little research. You may find that the different printing service providers may offer wildly different prices for what is essentially the very same service. And we’re sorry to say it, but generally mom & pop is not going to be the operation with the lowest overhead. You may want to click around the internet quite a bit to see what the most prominent online printers are able to do as far as price and variety of service are concerned.

The Difference Between Pamphlets and Leaflets
If the word “pamphlet” makes you think of uncomfortable waits in the doctor’s office and/or the smell of medical-grade disinfectant, you’re not alone. Those folded bundles of disturbing news about rheumatoid arthritis, jaundice and urinary tract infections may have left a bad taste in your mouth, and for good reason. But there’s no need to let those less than stellar encounters with pamphlets get in the way of your using them to your benefit in the future. Pamphlets, leaflets, brochures, and other paper paraphernalia can be a great boost to your business and a great way to educate others about your product, service or cause (even if that cause is rheumatoid arthritis awareness).
Print Advertisements to Save Your A$$
We’ve got a lot of entrepreneurs and small business owners in our circle of friends, and so we get to see firsthand the ups and downs they go through with regard to business. From our observations, though, one thing holds steady for all of them. When they try to save money by cutting back on advertising, they do themselves no favors. It’s like a man who is dying of thirst and so dehydrated he can’t make his way out of the desert, and yet he saves his little canteen of water in case he has to put out a fire. That man has got to “spend” those drops of water to get himself to a faucet or a creek. Similarly, struggling businesses need to spend their dwindling funds to attract more customers, thereby replenishing their bank accounts. Yes, it’s a leap of faith, but just think about these wise words spoken by everyone’s favorite American author, Mark Twain:
“Many a small thing has been made large by the right kind of advertising.”
That said, the “right kind” of advertising is going to vary by your business. But for many, printed advertisements are going to be the most financially accessible and effective tools to reel in new clients. (Don’t get us wrong – television and radio ads are also effective, but production costs are sky-high compared to the small investment needed to create great printed advertising.)

Custom-Printed Calendars
In case you missed the incessant play of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in every pharmacy, department store, restaurant, and public bathroom you set foot in, we’d like to remind you that the holidays are here. It’s time again to spend every spare penny you have to reassure your friends and family that you do indeed care for them – so much so, in fact, that you’d rather they get those sweet faux fur vests they’ve been eyeing in the Nordstrom window (even they live in Miami Beach where the temperature rarely dips below 70 degrees) than be able to comfortably afford groceries for the month. That’s just the type of kind-hearted person you are, and they appreciate you for it… probably.
